“MIND YOUR BUSINESS”
One-sheet
Running your own business, being your own boss, making lots of money – they’re all part of the American Dream. But how often does that dream turn into a nightmare?
We’ll find out on “MIND YOUR BUSINESS”, cable network’s new business makeover show, produced by GRB Entertainment. In each self-contained episode, a team of smart, engaging business experts will work with struggling business owners to prevent the impending worst-case scenario – closing their doors for good. Our team will devise and implement a fresh and current plan to overhaul the business – from branding, marketing and publicity, to cutting-edge technology, accounting, and customer service and, of course, design.
What new tricks can our team of experts teach the doggy day care owner who’s been barking up the wrong tree? Can our team cut out the overstocked hair products at the local hair salon before all the profits are washed down the drain? What recipe will the experts cook up for the pizza parlor to make more dough rise, so the other dough rises higher?
Businesses will be targeted and selected for their makeover potential, and the interesting people who run them. Their compelling back-stories are what give “MIND YOUR BUSINESS” its heart and soul.
Ideal businesses would include: Bakery, Bar/Nightclub, Clothing Boutique, Coffee Shop, Cupcake Shop, Custom Car or Bike Shop, Dance Studio, Day Spa, Deli, Dog Groomer/Doggy Daycare, Drycleaner, Florist, Frozen Yogurt Eatery, Gift Store, Hair Salon, Hardware Store, Laundromat, Mom & Pop Video Store, Music Store (cds, records instruments), Pet Shop, Shoe Store, Small Gym/Exercise Center, Sporting Goods, Tanning Salon, Tattoo Parlor, Toy Store/Hobby Shop (Businesses run out of the home, at a kiosk or without a store/shop/office would not lend themselves to the physical makeover aspect of the show, so would, therefore, not be suitable.)
