8(a) RULES AND REGULATIONS:

A Public Meeting & “Listening Tour”

The Los Angeles District Office (LADO) is one of ten district offices selected by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to conduct a public meeting and listening tour on the proposed changes to the 8(a) Business Development Program and Small Business Size Regulations.  The purpose of this meeting is to allow the general public, in particular local 8(a) firms, the opportunity to provide oral or written testimony on the proposed changes.

We strongly encourage you take advantage of this opportunity by providing your testimony.  SBA will also accept written testimony in lieu of oral testimony.  (Electronic or digitized copies are strongly encouraged.)  Both oral and written testimony will become part of the administrative record for SBA’s consideration in effectuating the proposed changes.  Commentary regarding other SBA topics would not be appropriate on this occasion.

For details on the proposed rule changes, please visit www.regulations.gov and (1) under Search type “SBA and proposed rule changes”, (2) under Find Agency type “SBA” and select it, and (3) sort by Posted Date to find the recently proposed rules.
