Republic ITS is requesting qualified MBE, WBE and OBE subcontractors and suppliers for the City of Los Angeles’s Security Lighting Unit 15 W.O. L0919020 project.  Subcontractor and supplier work opportunities include conduit installation, boring, pull box installation, foundation installation and material supply.  Republic ITS is willing to make work items available as partial or split items to assist subcontractors in bidding. 

The bid due date is March 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. 

Plans and specifications are available from the City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Street Lighting, Plan Distribution, 1149 S. Broadway, Ste. 200, Los Angeles, CA 90015, phone 213-847-1507, fax 213-847-1861, email bsl.plandistribution@lacity.org.  One set of plans and specifications will be provided free to each contractor.  Contractors may pick up plans and specifications in person, or send a request with your company’s FedEx account number to have one set shipped for free.  Please contact Plan Distribution for instructions for requesting bid documents.  Republic ITS will also provide copies of plans and specifications upon request.

Payment and performance bonds for the full amount of the subcontract, by an admitted surety, may be required. Republic ITS will pay any bond premiums up to 2%.  Please contact Republic ITS for bonding and insurance requirements.
